US to fall short of 2030 clean hydrogen target as costs skyrocket for green H2

Project pipeline has stagnated since 2023 due to lack of offtake and policy clarity, but clean H2 exports from US to Europe and Japan would still be cheaper than from rival nations, says DOE report
